VFL BOCHUM 1848 home & away 2023-2024

OSAKA, JAPAN – (July 4th, 2023) – Mizuno and VfL Bochum 1848 have presented the new home and away kits for the 2023/24 season.

Castroper Street football – that’s our way.

The new jerseys for your colours. It's what you wear when it's time to get down to business on a matchday, waiting for the kick-off. When you give everything for your colours, it comes down to this: football as it should be, football as it's always been! On the pitch and in the stands - it's Castroper Street football. It's for your city, for your club - again and again.

"Vonovia Ruhrstadion - Castroper Straße 145" – It's an address, but it's also much more than that. It's the home of VfL, our home. Not only because of the location, but above all because of the people who make it so unique. People who, on a match day, provide an unrivalled atmosphere and bring the blue and white spirit to life. We carry this feeling with us, because our home is where we are! That's our way, no matter what happens.

And this is reflected in the new jerseys for the 2023/2024 season. At our home, the road goes straight up to the stadium - all lines meeting at our shared place. On the new home jersey in floodlight blue, the blue and white printed stripes mark exactly this path to our shared destination.

And for the away jersey? Simple, VfL takes the Castroper Street with them! The white jersey features the Vonovia Ruhrstadion with its unique, distinctive floodlights and the unmistakable crescent-shaped trim that is embossed into the design. It stands for the fact that even when the team is away from home, we still want to show our values: A sense of community and unconditional support during the game!

The kits of the new collection will be produced out of 100% recyclable and breathable polyester. In the course of its sustainability concepts, VfL Bochum 1848 and Mizuno want to contribute to reducing the carbon footprint together. The new kits are available from 04.07.2023 (at 18h48) in the club’s online store, followed by the Club’s Fanshops the day after and through a selective list of retailers. The kits will also be soon available on Mizuno.com.
