Wagashi is de Japanse kunst om kleine en prachtige snoepjes te maken, waarbij het uiterlijk net zo belangrijk is als de smaak. Wagashi, meestal op plantaardige basis, bieden een grote verscheidenheid aan vormen en fleuren elk bord op. Aandacht voor detail, creativiteit en expertise zijn belangrijke elementen van dit ritueel. De Wave Rider β is uitgevoerd in pastelgroen en heeft een speciaal wagashi-patroon op de tong en wagashi kanji op de hiel. Het hoogwaardige gerubberde diepe marineblauwe leer van de Runbird is geïnspireerd op de donkere borden waarop wagashi wordt geserveerd.

The Wagashi is the Japanese art of crafting small and beautiful sweets, the look being as important as the taste. Most often plant-based, the wagashi offer a wide variety of shapes and brighten up any plate. Attention to detail, creativity and expertise are key elements of this ritual. Wagashi combines food art with genuine heritage, satisfaction with pleasure for the senses. One of the Kizuna Packs of the season, the Wagashi Pack encompasses these influences in the colourful and thoughtful designs. Dressed in a pastel green, the Wave Rider β has a special wagashi pattern on its tongue and wagashi kanji on its heel. The premium rubberised deep navy leather of the Runbird is inspired from the dark plates that are used to serve the wagashi.
