De nieuwe Wave Rider β Premium combineert traditie en vakmanschap met technologie en innovatie en is een eerbetoon aan een van de ware iconen van Mizuno's hardloop-universum: de Wave Rider. De Wave Rider β is in 2023 helemaal opnieuw ontworpen, waarbij gebruik is gemaakt van de designtaal van een aantal iconische modellen uit zijn lijn. Hij haalt zijn inspiratie uit verschillende iconische Wave Rider-modellen. Het combineert alle nieuwste hardlooptechnologie van Mizuno voor ongeëvenaard comfort en prestaties, met daarbovenop een gloednieuw bovenwerk dat doet denken aan verschillende Wave Rider-modellen die teruggaan tot de eerste introductie op de markt in 1997. Het logo van Mizuno in het doorlopende hielontwerp staat aan de zijkant van de hiel, terwijl dat op de tong opnieuw in een kader is geplaatst, in dit geval in een cirkel. Op deze eersteklas uitvoering heeft de schoen mesh met textuur, borduursels en kleine kleuraccenten.
