Mizuno and the Dutch Volleyball Federation Nevobo are expanding their partnership. The Japanese sporting goods brand has supplied all national indoor volleyball teams with footwear and accessories for the past nine years. From today, the Dutch national teams will also wear Mizuno uniforms (teamwear). The agreement applies to all representative volleyball and sitting volleyball teams.
Since 2013, the Nevobo and Mizuno have been working together to great satisfaction. Even before this period, for example in the heyday in the 1990s, the best Dutch volleyball players already played with Mizuno. 25 years ago, the team nicknamed Lange Mannen (Tall Men) won a historic gold medal at the Atlanta Olympics. During this 'Sports moment of the century', the team was wearing Mizuno head to toe.
The long-standing partnership between the volleyball federation and the Japanese sporting goods brand will therefore be strengthened from now on. All indoor teams, from young to old, and the Dutch sitting volleyball players, will wear Mizuno teamwear in addition to footwear.
