Mizuno & TCS Amsterdam Marathon: 20 years together

Celebrating the art of running

In 2019, Mizuno proudly celebrates its 20th anniversary as Main Sponsor of the TCS Amsterdam Marathon, one of the largest running events in Europe.

The partnership with the Amsterdam Marathon started on October 2000 and, by then, 5.800 runners signed up. 20 years later, the legacy of the partnership is thriving with 42.500 international runners, coming from 89 different countries and well determined to bring passion, commitment and love for culture to each kilometre. Over the years, the partners have grown together with the event, strengthening their bond around the values of sport and culture.

Mizuno has partnered with recognised artists, striving to celebrate the cultural richness of the city. Amsterdam is one of the most representative cities to celebrate diversity and the values of determination, freedom and multiculturalism.

2019 is a very special year as it marks the 350th anniversary of Rembrandt’s death. Thus, for this edition, we teamed up with the Rijksmuseum to honour one of the greatest names in the history of European art.
