For AW23, we decided to bring to life a pure sneakerhead pack, inspired by the Nikkapokka work wear from Japan. The Nikkapokka pants are designed to be both functional but also trendy, to highlight the pride of the physical work. Indeed, they represent the pride, recognition and self-awareness of the workers. Denim and Corduroy are telling the stories of Japanese workers, where suede add a more premium touch to the shoes. Purple and Green accents reflects recurrent colours from authentic Japanese construction universe. In the tradition of these unique packs, the Contender is rich of many details that all sneaker lovers will appreciate: a woven label written “safety first” in Japanese, laces with reflective yarn and a bold sprayed outsole.
