GORETEX WINDSTOPPER DHAULAGIRI DOWN JACKET

A down jacket that Matsubara wore during his summit push in Mt.Dhaulagiri, Himalayas in 1997. It uses GORE-TEX INFINUM on the outer fabric and is equipped with Breath Thermo and reflection gear on the inside to enhance heat insulation. Down feather can absorb moisture from the body and outer atmosphere or get wet from rain and lose sublimity which leads to a decrease in heat retention.

This product uses GORE-TEX Windstopper on the outer fabric which has the function of water resistance and repellency. By using this specific fabric, it prevents water from the outside, and with the moisture absorbency of the Breath Thermo equipped on the inside, it protects the down feather which is vulnerable to water. This down jacket uses a compatible combination of fabric to maintain heat insulation, which is a function a down jacket is meant to have.

In addition, the product not only uses Breath Thermo to generate heat, but also uses reflection gear which has the effect of radiating heat that comes from your body to enhance heat retention. Since the jacket reduces wetness from snow or light drizzles, and can be stored in a compact way, it is useful for outdoor scenes and travel in the winter.
