We send newsletters and other forms of (direct) marketing. This allows us to keep you informed of the latest developments at Mizuno, new products and other relevant issues. If you are a customer of ours, we may send you newsletters, but we can also do so if you have subscribed via our website. In the latter case, we have your permission to send newsletters. In order to send newsletters, we need certain information from you. Without this information, we will not be able to send the newsletter.
Furthermore, from time to time we organize events. If you participate in or visit these events, we can collect your personal data.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Each newsletter will contain a link with which you can easily unsubscribe. In addition, you can also send an email to unsubscribe. After that, you will no longer receive newsletters.
If you are no longer a customer, we may send the newsletter for a period of one year after the last moment of contact. After this, we will no longer send you newsletters.
Personalised advertising
If you have given your consent, we can send you personalised offers via e-mail or show you personalised advertisement. For this purpose, we will collect and analyse your personal data, for example your purchasing history, personal preferences and online behaviour, to create a personal profile of you. You are always entitled to withdraw your consent. This can be done either by unsubscribing to personalised advertising by clicking on the link in the e-mail. However, you can also send an e-mail to withdraw your consent.
We will retain your personal data as long as you want to receive personalised offers. Once you have withdrawn your consent, we will immediately delete your personal data. In our cookie statement, you will find information on the retention period of the data that is collected via tracking cookies, and how you can withdraw consent for the use of cookies.
Loyalty program – Mizuno Club
Mizuno offers a loyalty program to its customers. Customers can subscribe to the loyalty program to enjoy exclusive benefits, such as receiving vouchers and personalised offers, discounts and advertisement. Customers can subscribe to the loyalty program with their personal account. Once the terms and condition of the Loyalty Program are accepted, an agreement is concluded between the member and Mizuno. Mizuno can process the personal data of the member to fulfil the obligations of the agreement. This consists of keeping track of your purchase history to provide you with your rewards.
A part of the loyalty program is to offer personalised offers, discounts and advertising. For more information on this, please see above under “personalised advertising”. Mizuno can only offer these personalised services if the member has given consent for that. The member can always withdraw its consent at any time. However, if the member has not given its consent, it will not receive these personalised services.
For this purpose, we may collect and use the following personal data:

c. E-mail address and contact details;
d. Account details, such as username and password;
e. Membership details;
f. Received points and vouchers;
g. Information about your purchases;
h. Information about your personal and marketing preferences;

We will retain this information as long as you are subscribed to our loyalty program. Once you are unsubscribed, we will keep your personal data for two years.
Job applicants
When you apply for a job with us, we need your personal data to be able to assess the application and to be able to contact you regarding the application. Mizuno has a legitimate interest for this. When you are in the process of completing the application procedure, the personal data will be necessary for the drafting and execution of the employment contract.
We may process the following personal data for the purposes described above:

Mizuno stores your personal data for up to four weeks after the end of the application process. With your consent, Mizuno may retain this personal data for a maximum of one year. This way we can still contact you if we have an interesting vacancy for you later.
We usually collect your personal information through the information you provide to us during your relationship with us. This generally happens when you purchase a product or service from us, send us emails and other correspondence, through the forms and documents used when you sign up for our marketing lists, the login information you use to access our products or services, information you provide in connection with the warranties on our products, the events organized by Mizuno in which you participate and when you visit our website.
We may also collect your personal data from other sources, such as our group companies, our dealers or retail partners, magazine publishers, PR firms, fraud prevention agencies, credit reference agencies, government agency archives and social media.

● Right of access and information

● Right to change
You have the right to have your personal data amended to ensure that your data is correct and up to date.
● Right to erasure
You have the right to erasure. You can request us to delete your data. However, in some situations, we may not be able to comply with that request.
