90s culture is the main inspiration for the exciting collaboration with "24Karats" and "mita sneakers" The protagonist of the collaboration will be the "CONTENDER" , an iconic style that comes from the 1995 running catalogue. Beige pigskin, brown nubuck, and green oiled leather are skillfully used. The upper has a bold dollar bill print which is based on the ripstop nylon and that was popular in the street scene of the 90's.

To celebrate our Japanese heritage, we have once again collaborated with the Rijksmuseum to create 2 special edition shoes for the 2021 TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Taking inspiration from multiple elements within the Rijksmuseum’s Asian Pavilion which is home to a variety of sculptures, Buddhas, and kimonos, brings forth a harmonious mix between the Japanese tradition and a runner’s journey throughout the marathon.
The Mizuno Contender takes us back to the legacy of sports, performance, and the 90's culture. The contender we worked on is an invitation to travel, from Paris to Tokyo. The first skin, in corduroy, is inspired by the fashion capital, its subway, freestones, and architecture. The second skin in canvas, reminds us of the Japanese Cherry blossom season and the colours of Tokyo. There are two options: Let the pair wear out over time or use your creative instinct to combine the two worlds.

After Helen Glover returned from Rio in 2016 with a glorious gold medal, emulating her achievement in London four years previously, she took the decision to step away from her beloved sport of rowing. In the years that followed she didn’t so much as sit in a boat or on a rowing machine, instead starting a family and dedicating her time to raising three children. During the 2020 lockdown she returned to the rowing machine to discover that she still had the fitness and passion to compete at the highest level. Helen hopes her incredible journey can help inspire people and show that having children should not mean an end to something that they are passionate about.

Making his triathlon debut in 2012, we are proud to share the story of our latest For The Moment ambassador Jonathan Goerlach. A committed Paratriathlete who has been diagnosed with Usher syndrome. Ranked number three in the world for the vision-impaired men's category, Jonathan faces obstacles, with his site guide Sam by his side. Despite having won numerous races and three World Parathriatlon Series events, his proudest moment is whenever he receives messages from children who have similar disabilities and aspire to become an athlete like Jonathan.
