The technical line combines style and function. It represents our most innovative silhouettes, dressed in pure performance components. It encapsulates the decades of research and development of the Mizuno footwear division. Each style of this line is representative of either an era or a field dominated by the brand, and its significance is in the way each technology has revolutionized its industry each time. Previously introduced in all-Black and in Tiger’s Eye, the Wave Mujin TL GTX is now available in three additional captivating colourways. A subsequent release of the technical line will feature the Wave Prophecy LS and the Wave Rider 10.
The Wave Mujin TL GTX combines a running upper with a trail performance sole. The result is a very versatile shoe that can be worn across various terrains. Its versatility, though, does not only apply to its use, but also to its look. This sneaker strikes the perfect balance between a cool vibe and an outdoor feel, combining them for a signature contemporary look. The Wave Mujin TL GTX keeps the same concept of its predecessor, the Wave Mujin TL, while shifting the leather execution with a technical thermo-transfer layering technique. Ripstop mesh and synthetic leather finish the upper. Mizuno has always paid great attention to the source of the materials used for its sneakers. For this silhouette, GoreTex provided the waterproof membranes used across the upper while Michelin collaborated for the realisation of the outsole. For the launch of the technical line, three new colourways of the Wave Mujin TL GTX will be released, capturing the essence of the tones chosen for Mizuno Sportstyle’s SS24 collection’s “Down to Earth”. Neutral and vibrant hues seamlessly merge within a colour palette inspired by rich botanic shades and agrums tones.
