Artefact Kizuna Pack

Mizuno introduces Kizuna, a series of specially curated packs that draw inspiration from the brand’s history and its community. Starting with FW21, the Kizuna packs want to start a conversation on what defines our identity and how we shape our experiences into our daily lives. As such, they will draw from diverse and unexpected aspects of Japanese culture to bring the brand’s fans along on a journey of discovery and excitement.

Mizuno X Nagoya X SoccerBible

The Nagoya Grampus Eight ‘93 jersey was, in itself, a timeless masterpiece of football-based design. With such striking colours and truly unique detail, it’s a heritage piece that is as fitting on the street as it is in the archives. Staying true and still contemporary, the aesthetic was ahead of the game on so many levels.

Contender Mita

90s culture is the main inspiration for the exciting collaboration with "24Karats" and "mita sneakers" The protagonist of the collaboration will be the "CONTENDER" , an iconic style that comes from the 1995 running catalogue. Beige pigskin, brown nubuck, and green oiled leather are skillfully used. The upper has a bold dollar bill print which is based on the ripstop nylon and that was popular in the street scene of the 90's.

Wave Rebellion

De spiksplinternieuwe Wave Rebellion is het resultaat van onze zoektocht naar een nieuwe definitie van 'snel', die toepasbaar is op elke hardloper. Ons doel is simpel: jou helpen sneller te lopen, ongeacht hoe snel jouw 'snel' is. En om er voor te zorgen dat jij prettig loopt en niet hoeft in te leveren op comfort.

Mizuno X Rijksmuseum

Om ons Japanse erfgoed te eren, hebben we opnieuw de samenwerking opgezocht met het Rijksmuseum, om twee 'limited edition' schoenen te creëren speciaal voor de 2021 TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Geïnspireerd op het Aziatisch Paviljoen, dat zich bevindt in het Rijksmuseum en een rijke collectie aan sculpturen, Buddha's, Kimono's en andere kunststukken huisvest, en daarmee de kruisbestuiving laat zien tussen Japanse traditie en de reis van een hardloper richting de marathon.

Mizuno Shinzo

The Mizuno Contender takes us back to the legacy of sports, performance, and the 90's culture. The contender we worked on is an invitation to travel, from Paris to Tokyo. The first skin, in corduroy, is inspired by the fashion capital, its subway, freestones, and architecture. The second skin in canvas, reminds us of the Japanese Cherry blossom season and the colours of Tokyo. There are two options: Let the pair wear out over time or use your creative instinct to combine the two worlds.

Morelia DNA Pack
