Al sinds 1906 richten we ons op de ontwikkeling en verbetering van sportproducten en helpen we mensen over de hele wereld om hun grenzen te verleggen. Om nog meer bij te dragen aan de samenleving hebben we het initiatief genomen om de samenwerking aan te gaan met een van de oudste voetbalclubs ter wereld, VfL Bochum 1848. Samen met VfL Bochum 1848 hebben we drie gloednieuwe tenues ontwikkeld die modern design combineren met opmerkelijke elementen uit het Vonovia Ruhrstadion, waarin de rijke geschiedenis van de club is verankerd en de spelers hun trots op hun mouw kan dragen.

Met zijn debuut in 2009, heeft de Wave Ignitus het concept van snelheid en balcontrole overgenomen van zijn voorganger, de Wave Incision. Deze voetbalschoen is ontwikkeld voor meer precisie tijdens het passen en schieten. Bovendien beschikt de schoen over het unieke Mukaiten Panel ("no spin") bij de wreef. Surbiton hockey club was founded in 1874, establishing it the second oldest hockey club in the world. They are the reigning champions of both the women’s and men’s Premier Leagues – the women have triumphed for each of the last seven years and the men for three out of the last four years. <br><br> The first teams are packed with international stars, but Surbiton is a club with players of all standards, boasting well over 1000 members and including 50 junior teams. <br><br> Mizuno is proud to sponsor Surbiton Hockey Club, proving all training & competition apparel as well as seeing many of the players wearing the specialty hockey shoes.

Mizuno X Rijksmuseum
Om ons Japanse erfgoed te eren, hebben we opnieuw de samenwerking opgezocht met het Rijksmuseum, om twee 'limited edition' schoenen te creëren speciaal voor de 2021 TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Geïnspireerd op het Aziatisch Paviljoen, dat zich bevindt in het Rijksmuseum en een rijke collectie aan sculpturen, Buddha's, Kimono's en andere kunststukken huisvest, en daarmee de kruisbestuiving laat zien tussen Japanse traditie en de reis van een hardloper richting de marathon.
