Hiroshi Nagai is een belangrijke speler in het ontstaan van de "city pop cultuur". Hij staat vooral bekend om zijn felle en kleurrijke ontwerpen. In de jaren '70 en '80 was hij actief in het ontwerpen van vinylhoezen van city pop muziek. De recente opleving van de trend heeft hem weer in de schijnwerpers gezet. Hij werkt samen met Mizuno Sportstyle aan een Kizuna Pack dat aan zijn naam is gewijd door toezicht te houden op het ontwerp, de kleuren en de materiaalrichting van de sneakers. Elke stijl in dit pack is gekoppeld aan een belangrijk element van Nagai's kunst. Voor deze pack is ons meest iconische silhouet, de Wave Prophecy LS, uitgevoerd in felle kleuren, wat het belangrijkste kenmerk is van zijn kunst. Bovendien is zijn handtekening op de tong geborduurd en is zijn logo op de hiel gedrukt.

Hiroshi Nagai is a key player in the establishment of “city pop culture.” He is best known for his bright and colourful designs. During the 70s and 80s, he was active in designing vinyl jackets of city pop music. The recent revival of the trend has put him back in the spotlight. He collaborates with Mizuno Sportstyle to create a Kizuna Pack devoted to his name by supervising the design, colouring and material direction for the sneakers. Each style in this pack is linked to an important element of Nagai's art. For this pack, our most iconic silhouette Wave Prophecy LS is dressed in bright colors, which is the main characteristic of his art. Additionally, his signature is embroidered on the tongue and his logo is printed on the heel.
