The springy softness of the MIZUNO ENERZY midsole, combined with the stability and propulsive force generated by MIZUNO WAVE, delivers smooth, light comfort while running that naturally propels the foot forward while still providing plenty of cushioning. While maintaining the comfortable characteristics of the WAVE RIDER 26 sole, the heel structure of the new upper has been revamped to provide a seamless upper fit that gently wraps around the entire foot. The weight has been made five grams lighter.

The new upper structure gently envelops the foot and the shoe‘s overall weight has been lightened by five grams.
