The Wagashi is the Japanese art of crafting small and beautiful sweets, the look being as important as the taste. Most often plant-based, the wagashi offer a wide variety of shapes and brighten up any plate. Attention to detail, creativity and expertise are key elements of this ritual. Wagashi combines food art with genuine heritage, satisfaction with pleasure for the senses. One of the Kizuna Packs of the season, the Wagashi Pack encompasses these influences in the colourful and thoughtful designs. Dressed in a pastel lavender colour, the Contender has a special wagashi pattern on its tongue and wagashi kanji on its heel. The premium rubberised deep navy leather of the Runbird is inspired from the dark plates that are used to serve the wagashi.
