Mizuno chooses Pardon my French, the clothing brand founded by DJ Snake, to create a very special Fall/Winter 2019 capsule collection.
Just as fascinating as a travel across the African continent, on the edge of the equatorial border, this capsule tells a story of contamination and magic encounters between different cultures, resulting in a perfectly harmonious dialogue between two different – yet complementary – identities.
Pardon my French and its minimalistic aesthetic joins Mizuno design heritage and its nineties-inspired personality, giving birth to a never-seen premium capsule collection. The colourful patterns evoke the warmth of the sun setting on Savannah, whilst the soft textiles take inspiration from the creative flair of skilled African fabric artisans and their characteristic batiks.
The capsule, which includes the iconic sneakers Wave Rider 1 PMF and the loose fit Tracksuit PMF, was presented on 13th September 2019, on the occasion of the exclusive Release Party at Nubian Store in Tokyo. The collection will be available also at Shinzo (Paris) and B-Hype (Dubai) from 20th September 2019.
